Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Every year when October rolls around everyone wants to know when am I going to make those awesome pumpkin chocolate cookies?

First gather all ingredients:

2 separate mixing bowls (large and small)
Parchment Paper
1 Cup Canned Pumpkin
1 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter (melted)
1 Egg
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Milk
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
2 Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 Walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 F
Combine pumpkin, sugar, butter and egg in a separate bowl,

In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, spice, and salt

Dissolve the baking soda with the milk and stir in
Add pumpkin mixture to flour and mix well
Add vanilla, chocolate and nuts

Drop by spoonful onto parchment lined cookie sheets
Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes

I hope you enjoy the warm autumn flavors of pumkin and spice in these delicious cookies as much as my family does.  It's one of our favorites this time of year.
